Hitachi Energy Ltd. in the United States (South Boston facility) seeks an ITM System & Continuous Improvement Specialist to advance operational excellence.

You will partner with factory leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) System and drive performance improvements. The role emphasizes coaching on Lean principles, facilitating Kaizen events, and deploying strategic objectives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field.
• 2+ years in Lean/continuous improvement or manufacturing roles.
• Experience with established Lean systems is advantageous.
• Lean/Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• Proven ability to influence and deliver results across teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and mature the ITM System with factory leaders.
• Support Strategy Deployment and Lean Daily Management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and process workshops.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Lead cost-out projects and implement sustainable changes.
• Train and mentor colleagues on Lean and ITM tools.
• Foster accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.
