Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Bland, VA seeks a TPM Continuous Improvement Leader (ITM System Leader) to guide lean transformation across NAM transformer factories.

You will drive TPM deployment, elevate equipment reliability, and coach cross-functional teams to improve KPI performance. You will collaborate with factory leaders and maintenance teams to deploy ITM tools, run Kaizen events, benchmark best practices, and advance maturity of the Integrated Transformer Management system while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; 3+ years in Lean/continuous improvement/TPM deployment.
• Experience implementing operating systems (TPS, DBS, HOS).
• Hands-on CMMS, autonomous maintenance, and maintenance KPIs.
• Proven track record delivering measurable improvements (e.g., OEE gains).

Responsibilities

• Lead TPM deployment and improve equipment reliability across NAM sites.
• Facilitate KPI development and Kaizen planning.
• Champion waste elimination through Lean daily management and visual systems.
• Drive ITM maturity assessments and implement targeted improvements.
• Mentor teams on ITM, TPM, and continuous improvement methods.
• Lead cost-out initiatives and support root-cause problem solving.
• Identify and integrate best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
