Job summary

SEEM Collaborative is seeking an itinerant Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments/Orientation and Mobility Specialist in Stoneham, MA. The role serves a diverse caseload of students from pre-school through high school across 11 towns, with direct and consultation services per IEP/504 plans and ongoing progress updates.

The candidate will teach Braille and assistive technology, provide mobility instruction, and participate in trainings for teams and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.
• ACVREP certification preferred or required.
• TVI/COMS dual certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultation services under IEP and 504 plans.
• Develop and update IEP goals and objectives; monitor student progress.
• Train staff and parents; participate in educational team meetings.
