Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a Paraeducator Level II for Special Education Itinerant (Learning Center) at Sequoyah ES. 6 hours per day, 10 months, itinerant with mobility between locations. Requires an associate's degree; ParaPro score 455+ preferred.

Responsibilities include one-on-one student support per IEP, and assisting with academic, behavioral, social and emotional needs. Wage range is $26.23–$40.17 per hour; benefits information available via MCPS.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree; bachelor’s preferred and coursework in education or behavior management.
• ParaPro Assessment with a qualifying score of 455 or higher required.
• Experience working with students in structured educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to meet IEP goals and accommodations.
• Move with the student to different locations as needed.
• Assist with academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and physical supports.
