Job summary

Soliant Health in New Jersey is seeking a contracted school psychologist to provide essential psychological support for elementary students. The full-time itinerant role (35 hours per week) emphasizes collaboration with teachers and families in a dynamic school setting.

You will conduct evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and work as part of multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized plans. Travel between district sites is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold active New Jersey School Psychologist certification.
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-age children.
• Familiarity with conducting psychological and academic evaluations.
• Understanding of special education laws and best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret psychological assessments for students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education/behavioral plans.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to coordinate support.
• Provide recommendations, interventions, and progress monitoring.
• Travel between school sites within the district as needed.
