Job summary

CERIS, a division of CorVel Corporation, is seeking an Itemization Review Nurse to analyze charges on UBIs to ensure billing accuracy. The role involves collecting data, documenting conclusions, and understanding surgical implants within a collaborative team.

Qualified RNs with OR/ICU/ER experience and an associate degree or higher are encouraged to apply; medical bill auditing experience is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in OR, ICU, or ER as an RN.
• Associates degree in Nursing or higher.
• Medical bill auditing experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Collects supporting data and analyzes information to assess billing accuracy.
• Documents work and final conclusions in designated computer program.
• Understands Surgical Implants and itemization review processes.
• Meets department standards and performs additional duties as assigned.
