Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Item Processing Lead to coordinate daily operations for the Item Processing Team. You will be the SME for assigned areas, oversee training, and help resolve escalated issues to ensure timely production and accuracy.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of banking operations experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of banking operations experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and monitor the day-to-day workflow of the Item Processing Department with the Manager.
• Ensure production and quality standards are met while maintaining efficiency.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reporting of department activity.
• Provide coaching and training to Item Processing Specialists.
• Assist with audits, self assessments, and departmental procedures updates.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems to management.
• Operate and troubleshoot image, print, and insertion machines.
