Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a professional Italian voice actor to record expressive audio and assess AI-generated speech for natural flow and pronunciation. You’ll provide feedback to improve synthesized outputs and help refine scripts for clarity and natural delivery.

This fully remote, hourly contract role requires a high-quality mic, a quiet recording space, and the ability to work independently on your schedule. Prior AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional.
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with confident, expressive delivery.
• Owner of a high-quality large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, controlled recording environment.
• Capable of producing engaging, articulate, and emotionally nuanced vocal performances.
• Naturally detail-oriented when evaluating tone, clarity, pronunciation, and pacing.
• No prior AI or tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional authenticity
• Deliver detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review and suggest refinements to scripts to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
