Job summary

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach Spanish GED through continuing education. Instructors may teach in person, online, hybrid, or blended formats and should support student success in a multicultural campus environment.

Responsibilities include course planning, instruction, and timely evaluation with a willingness to teach days, evenings, or weekends. A Master’s in Education or equivalent with Spanish fluency is required; TESOL/ ICCB certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education required, or Master’s plus 18 graduate hours in the discipline of instruction.
• Fluent Spanish speaker; High School teaching experience preferred.
• TESOL or ICCB Standards Proficient certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver courses in classroom, lab, or online formats (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Evaluate students and submit required instructional paperwork in a timely manner.
• Adapt instruction to a multicultural student body and flexible scheduling.
