Casa Gianna in Miami, FL seeks a Chef de Partie to support the Executive and Sous Chef with recipe development and execution of a la carte dining. You will staff the kitchen, prep for service, and ensure quality presentation.

The role requires Italian cooking expertise, ability to work multiple stations, and strong sanitation practices. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Full-time, with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Italian cuisine.
• Experience in a multi-meal restaurant (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
• Passion for quality food and cooking with Italian techniques.
• Knowledge of classical and present cooking procedures.
• Ability to work at various stations – sauté, grill, sauces, pantry, expediting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange food according to established recipes, nutrition philosophy, and quality of presentation.
• Set up the station and gather supplies for service.
• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and cold items for line and special functions.
• Prepare sauces and garnishes for the station.
• Lead sanitation efforts and maintain safety standards.
• Coordinate with Executive/Sous Chef to develop and cost menu items.
