Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services (SCDPPPS) seeks an ITAC Agent Trainee for the Intelligence Tracking and Communications unit. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral science courses.
• An associate's degree and two years of military or certified law enforcement experience may be substituted.
• A high school diploma and four years of military or certified law enforcement experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Triage statewide electronic surveillance alerts and notify appropriate persons.
• Serve as the first line of notification for ITAC operations.
• Maintain professional communication networks inside and outside the Department and keep knowledge of surveillance software, hardware, and program protocols.
