Training and essential staffing ensure safe and timely responses. The role requires a combination of education in social/behavioral sciences or law enforcement experience, with substitutions allowed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral science.
• Associate's degree and two years military or certified law enforcement experience (Class 1 or Offender Supervision Specialist) may be substituted.
• High school diploma and four years military or certified law enforcement experience (Class 1 or Offender Supervision Specialist) may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• First line of notification for statewide electronic surveillance alerts.
• Triage alerts and notify appropriate persons as required.
• Maintains professional communication network inside and outside the Department; promotes public relations with field staff/responders; maintains knowledge of surveillance software, hardware, and program protocols.

Associate's degree + 2 years military or certified law enforcement (Class 1 or Offender Supervision Specialist)
