Job summary

Mega Cloud Lab is seeking a seasoned IT Operational Excellence & Transformation Lead to drive strategic initiatives, streamline IT processes, and optimize enterprise operations in a complex, large-scale environment.

You will partner with IT leadership to develop, monitor, and execute transformational programs, implement disciplined scorecards, and lead change management with hands-on delivery and AI-enabled automation to boost organizational productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive business experience with at least 6 years in change management and complex project delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
• LEAN certification, Six Sigma training, or comparable process improvement credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Transformation & Alignment: Collaborate with IT leadership to develop, track, monitor, and execute transformational initiatives and priorities.
• Process Optimization & Efficiency: Lead end-to-end process reviews, SOP audits, risk profiles, and SLA evaluations to remove bottlenecks.
• Due Diligence & Business Case Development: Conduct operational reviews and prepare business cases and recommendations to leadership.
• Performance Metrics & Scorecards: Design and implement scorecards for productivity, service levels, quality, risk, and costs.
• Program Execution & Hands-On Delivery: Maintain hands-on involvement in large IT programs and translate requirements into specifications.
• Change Management: Champion change management for seamless adoption of new processes and IT systems.
• AI & Automation Integration: Leverage AI prompting and AI agent workflows to accelerate process automation and insights.

We are seeking a seasoned IT Operational Excellence & Transformation Lead for our client to drive strategic initiatives, streamline IT processes, and optimize enterprise operations. Reporting alongside IT leadership, you will lead cross‑functional process improvement efforts, implement disciplined performance scorecards, and apply change management methodologies to solve operational bottlenecks. The ideal candidate blends deep process optimization expertise (LEAN / Six Sigma) with hands‑on experience in large‑scale IT program execution and modern AI integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Transformation & Alignment: Work closely and collaboratively with IT leadership to develop, track, monitor, and execute departmental transformational initiatives and key priorities.

• Process Optimization & Efficiency: Spearhead departmental operational efficiency by streamlining procedures. Conduct end‑to‑end process reviews, SOP audits, risk profiles, and SLA evaluations to resolve operational bottlenecks and mitigate risk across core business workflows.

• Due Diligence & Business Case Development: Conduct operational reviews, feasibility studies, and due diligence. Prepare and present high‑impact business cases, benefit realizations, and strategic recommendations to leadership across various business units in need of business process management (BPM) or transformation.

• Performance Metrics & Scorecards: Design and implement disciplined measurement scorecards across key operational areas—including productivity, service levels, quality metrics, risk exposure, and transaction costs.

• Project & Portfolio Tracking: Compile departmental priorities, assist team leads in developing structured work plans, monitor key initiatives, and establish clear escalation pathways for critical program risks.

• Program Execution & Hands‑On Delivery: Maintain hands‑on involvement in large, complex IT programs and technology implementations, translating business requirements into functional specs.

• Change Management: Champion change management practices across the organization to ensure seamless adoption of new processes, IT systems, and operational frameworks.

• AI & Automation Integration: Leverage AI prompting and custom AI agent workflows to accelerate process automation, insights generation, and departmental productivity.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive business experience, with at least 6 years focused on change management, complex project delivery, and quantitative business analysis.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.

• Certifications: LEAN certification, Six Sigma training, or comparable process improvement framework credential required.

• Technical & Analytical Mastery:

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, and MS Visio.

• Proven quantitative analysis skills and experience translating business needs into detailed technical and functional requirement specifications.

• Practical experience with AI prompting techniques and AI agent workflow creation to improve operational efficiency.

• Stakeholder Management & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across all levels of a large enterprise, influencing stakeholders in high‑profile, high‑pressure environments.

• Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, digital, and executive presentation capabilities.

• Domain Advantage: Prior experience navigating public sector or government agency environments is a strong plus.
