We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems, peripherals, and software in an office environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude. Candidates must have their own transportation and be willing to travel to various locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing and storing data using computers, software, databases, networks, and servers.
2. Maintaining networks and providing technical support.
3. Installing computer hardware.
4. Installing software and networking systems.
5. Troubleshooting network and software issues.
6. Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
7. Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
8. Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
9. Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent threats.
10. Creating user accounts and performing access control.
11. Preparing tech for new hires.
12. Being present during new hire orientations to address tech issues.
13. Traveling weekly to each site to ensure all tech is operational and staff are using it appropriately.
14. Managing Wi-Fi and phone systems setup.

Minimum Requirements

1. Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Strong knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
3. Basic understanding of networking concepts.
4. 1+ year of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
