Job summary

IDS in Muscatatuck, Indiana seeks an Information Technology Technician I to provide hands-on support for computer systems, network infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments. The role focuses on Windows and Linux server administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

You will work with VMware, KVM, and Xen hypervisors to maintain secure, reliable enterprise systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT.
Active Secret security clearance required.
Minimum of one year of experience working with computer systems, IT, and networking.
Experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server OS engineering and administration.
Cloud, physical, and virtual network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring.

Responsibilities

Support the operation and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure.
Assist with administration of Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems.
Monitor system and network performance across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Support virtualization platforms and hosted environments.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of network and system configurations.
Identify and report system vulnerabilities and support mitigation efforts.
Maintain technical documentation and administrative records.
Coordinate with technical teams to support operational and project requirements.
