Lewis County PUD in Chehalis is seeking an IT Technician to provide technical support to employees and customers, troubleshooting software, hardware, and connectivity issues, including printer and Help Desk support. The role enforces endpoint configurations and security settings.
Responsibilities include handling service requests, end-user support, website updates, device management, and account provisioning.
The IT Technician provides technical support to employees and District customers by troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and connectivity problems, including printer, copier and Help Desk support in District facilities. The position also enforces network endpoint setup integrity, configurations, firewall and antivirus settings using specialized software. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware installation, repair, testing and troubleshooting.
This is a non-remote position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and up to one year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop hardware and software preferred.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Knowledge of Windows, networking systems, PC hardware, and PC software including spreadsheets, word processing, IP based phone systems, iOS devices, PowerShell, and data base structure required.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and sit for extended periods of time.
