Job summary

Iron County in Utah seeks a technically skilled IT professional for a full-time, career-service position to maintain data, operations and related systems under the direction of the IT Director and IT Manager.

Job description

FULL TIME/ CAREER SERVICE/ BENEFITTED POSITION

Performs a variety of technical duties related to maintaining data, operations and maintenance of the Iron County computer and related systems. Works under the general guidance and direction of the Iron County I.T. Director and the I.T. Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

An associate degree (minimum) in Computer Science or related field and at least two (2) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have and maintain a valid Utah Driver's License and compliance with Iron County's vehicle/driving policy.
• Attend training when needed or scheduled.
• Be available to work occasional, extended hours and/or weekends (as needed) to maintain computer operations or address emergencies.
• Must pass a criminal background check and be able to obtain NCIC criminal background clearance.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with Iron County drug and alcohol policies and guidelines.
