IT / Technical Project Coordinator (Cloud & AI-Focused)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite / Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 / hr W2 (Conversion Salary Target: $65k – $75k upon perm conversion)

Duration: 6 Months + (Contract-to-Hire Potential)

Employment Type: Direct W2 Only (Strictly no Corp-to-Corp / C2C, third-party agencies, or W2 referrals)

Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious, highly motivated, and tech-enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join an enterprise technology group in Charlotte, NC.

The hiring manager is looking for a hungry, driven professional who loves IT, is passionate about emerging technologies (like AI and Cloud), and wants to grow their career. The team will provide hands-on training and mentorship—including support for AWS training and certifications—for a candidate with the right drive and mindset!

In this role, you will act as a nimble technical project coordinator, keeping key technology initiatives moving, tracking deliverables, facilitating cross-functional meetings, and learning cloud resiliency workflows from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Tracking & Execution: Support technical leads with daily coordination tasks, ensuring project timelines, task lists, and action items are actively tracked and updated.
• Meeting & Bridge Facilitation: Schedule cross-functional meetings, create agendas, document detailed meeting minutes/action items, and facilitate live coordination calls.
• Deliverable Monitoring: Proactively follow up with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders on pending tasks to ensure deadlines and project milestones are met.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, leverage modern tools/AI to build dashboards and status reports, and support general team operational workflows.

Position Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience as an IT Project Coordinator, Technical Support Analyst, Operations Coordinator, or similar tech-adjacent project role.
• Tech & AI Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for technology, IT systems, cloud concepts (AWS/Azure), and modern AI tools. Driven by continuous learning and self-improvement.
• Growth Mindset: High energy, self-motivated, and eager to be molded and trained by senior technical leadership.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask and keep multiple moving deliverables organized simultaneously.
• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally across distributed technical and business teams.
• Software Proficiencies: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook) and modern collaboration tools (SharePoint, Jira, Asana, or AI productivity tools).
