The ideal candidate has 3+ years in computer networks and Microsoft OS support, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. Local travel may be required; the position is on-site in Reno.

Position: IT Technician

i-80 Gold Corp is seeking a candidate to fill the position of IT Technician. The right individual is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software components to ensure the smooth operations of IT systems. The IT Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the network systems and IP based devices on the i-80 Gold network to ensure reliability, integrity, and availability for the operation. The IT Technician reports directly to the Director of IT, in all aspects of the i-80 Gold user and network environment and is accountable for all aspects of first level support within that environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Min of 3+ years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
• Mining network experience advantageous
• Min of 3+ years experience in Microsoft Operating System Support
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Climb stairwells and be capable of working on elevated platforms
• Walk on uneven ground
