Job summary

Claims Management Resources (CMR) is seeking a security-focused IT professional to implement and maintain security protocols for its technology infrastructure in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on risk assessment, disaster recovery, and data protection, ensuring systems and information stay safe for government and utility clients.

You will design and implement security measures, monitor for threats, and provide expert guidance to staff while supporting policy development and incident response

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity framework), risk management and intrusion prevention systems (e.g. TippingPoint)
• Familiarity with PKI, SSL/TLS and patch management practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus programs)
• Secure networks through firewalls, password protection and other systems
• Conduct hardware security inspections and ensure system hardening

• Provide security expertise and training to internal employees
• Provide subject matter support in the development of security policies and guidelines

We’re looking for someone to join our Information Technology team who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols and processes related to our technology infrastructure, keeping our systems and information safe.

Education And Experience

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field required.
• Experience with tools such as CrowdStrike and Splunk is required.
• Programming skills are preferred (e.g. knowledge of C#, PHP, .Net)
• Professional certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM) is a plus or able to obtain within first year of employment.
• 2-3 years of related experience
