Job summary

DeSilva Gates Construction in Dublin, CA is seeking a Systems Administrator to join the IT Department in Dublin. You will support servers, networks, cloud services, applications, and end users across multiple locations and job sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of systems administration experience, with hands-on work in Microsoft 365, VMware, VPNs, and disaster recovery. Strong communication and ownership are essential as we deliver major infrastructure projects across Northern California.

• Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a distributed environment
• Strong problem-solving and proactive mindset

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, cloud services, applications.
• Manage Microsoft 365 administration including users, licensing, permissions and security.
• Support virtual server infrastructure, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Administer network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and remote locations.
• Provide end-user support and collaborate with IT team on tickets and projects.
• Coordinate with vendors for deployments, patches, and new technologies.
• Maintain system documentation and inventories.
