Overview

We are seeking an IT Systems Management Analyst with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience to support and manage system infrastructure, focusing on Linux systems, virtualization (VMware), and data center operations. This role is ideal for a technically strong candidate with experience in system diagnostics, storage configuration, and physical hardware management.

Position: Contract – 6 Months (Potential for Extension)

Responsibilities

• Conduct system-wide preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform root-cause analysis of system issues and provide solutions.
• Manage Linux systems (Red Hat RHEL8/9), including performance troubleshooting.
• Configure storage using LVM (Volume Groups, Logical Volumes, file systems).
• Handle SAN storage setups and snapshots using Shell scripts.
• Perform rack and stack of physical servers and network gear.
• Work on data center design and equipment build-outs.
• Configure and manage storage platforms including DELL, NetApp, and PURE.
• Administer VMware environments, including RDM storage management.
• Execute cabling and physical infrastructure tasks.
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in systems management and Linux administration.
• Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL8 and RHEL9).
• Proficiency in VMware and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of SAN storage, shell scripting, and data center infrastructure.
• Familiarity with physical equipment handling, cabling, and rack setup.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for performance and system issues.
