Job summary

Qvest US is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to lead internal technology initiatives, oversee systems development and deployment, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure. You will manage budgets, risks, and project timelines while aligning with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong communication across levels, expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), data governance, and robust cybersecurity practices to protect company and client

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development & IT infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across levels and functions.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including a strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• Experience in managing large-scale data environments, including data storage, processing, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of data management frameworks, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data analytics tools
• Proven track record in implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies
• Expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with security standards
• Proven experience in establishing rigorous quality control processes & tools
• Expertise in implementing testing protocols, ensuring adherence to industry standards
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee internal technology timeline aligned with business strategy.
• Oversee the successful execution of technology projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Oversee management and optimization of technology infrastructure to ensure security, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage risks, issues and bugs, providing transparency and timely resolution.
• Support Leadership in developing an annual technology budget and manage to the budget throughout the year.
• Ensure all systems comply with compliance regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain security of all technology systems to protect company & client data.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on technology strategy, project status, and performance metrics.
