Job summary

Eisenhower Medical Center in the United States seeks an experienced IT Systems Administrator to manage, automate, and optimize server and core application infrastructure, working in either desktop or data center support within the Information Systems department.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, four years in IT, and advanced certifications in Citrix, firewall, SAN, cybersecurity, Network+, and Security+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or four (4) years of applicable experience in lieu of degree.
• Four (4) years of experience as a System Administrator or equivalent IT role.
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments and in creating architecture, process, and procedural documentation; audits and risk assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and configures all servers and storage infrastructure; provides operational control over server and storage environments.
• Manages server and OS patching and upgrades; informs leaders of end-of-support deadlines.
• Supports incident response and security events; collaborates to mitigate disruptions.
• Maintains data center tools and IT assets, including virtualization, email, storage, and backups.
