Job summary

Crecera Brands seeks an IT Support Engineer to work independently and with management to plan, coordinate, and implement large IT projects. You will evaluate, implement, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, applications, and security across the organization.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years of desktop/server support, experience with virtualization (VMware/Vsphere/HorizonView) and OS deployment, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• At least three years of desktop hardware and software support.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Vsphere, HorizonView).
• At least three years of Windows Server & Desktop OS and applications experience.
• Experience with OS Deployment.
• Experience with Application packaging and deployment.
• SCCM experience preferred.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.
• Mac enterprise experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage server and desktop OS and application deployments and upgrades.
• Install new and rebuild servers and configure hardware and storage.
• Lead IT deployments and manage hardware lifecycles.
• Stay current with system issues and software conflicts.
• Troubleshoot problems and assist the service desk.
• Provide on-call, after-hours support as needed.
• Help create a strategic roadmap for server/desktop systems and budgets.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate technologies and improve productivity.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and licenses.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
