Job summary

Asset Technology Group is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to serve as a technical specialist responsible for executing tasks within the project lifecycle and onboarding new clients. Working under the direction of a Project Manager, you will perform hands-on configuration, migration, and deployment to deliver high-quality IT solutions.

This role emphasizes technical accuracy, adherence to defined standards, and a successful transition of new environments into the managed services portfolio,

Qualifications

• Experience configuring servers, cloud services, and networking hardware per project specs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure administration.
• Experience with Hyper-V virtualization.
• Ability to create clear network diagrams and technical asset lists.
• Strong collaboration and communication within project teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute project tasks including installation and configuration of servers, cloud services, and networking hardware.
• Assist in onboarding new clients with site assessments and aligning environments with standards.
• Migrate users, mailboxes, and data to Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Set up and configure firewalls, switches, and wireless access points as part of deployments.
• Create thorough technical documentation for the Support Desk.
• Troubleshoot and escalate complex issues when needed.
