Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Software Engineer for the Agentic Infrastructure team to own the systems that power builds and deployment at scale. You will shape design, reliability, and evolution of the platform, ensuring fast, resilient workflows for customers and their agents.

You’ll collaborate across teams, write clean, tested code, contribute to open source, and participate in on‑call rotations, with a focus on developer experience and long-term scalability.

As an engineer on the Agentic Infrastructure team, you’ll take ownership of the systems that carry that work at scale. You won’t just contribute features – you’ll be responsible for the design, reliability, and evolution of the platform itself. You’ll make decisions that shape performance, define best practices, and ensure the workflows that Vercel, our customers, and their agents depend on are fast, resilient, and secure.

This role blends product thinking with deep systems ownership. You’ll partner with teams across Vercel to build and operate the agentic infrastructure that determines how software actually ships.

• Shape the long-term vision of agentic infrastructure at Vercel by setting standards for scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.

Bonus If You:

The base pay range for this role is $196,000.00 – $294,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job‑related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity‑based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
