Job summary

ASR International Corp in Hauppauge, NY, invites applications for a Junior IT Specialist to support the ASR IT Systems Team. This on-site, full-time role offers an entry-level chance to learn across IT, business systems, automation, and cybersecurity operations supporting national programs.

You will engage in end-user support, cybersecurity monitoring, and development of internal systems, with opportunities to contribute to AI initiatives and training content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of IT, networking, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Familiarity with programming, scripting, automation, and software development concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux desktops/servers and secure configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user technical support and troubleshooting for PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Support IT and cybersecurity operations, monitoring, and maintenance of on-premises, remote, and cloud IT infrastructure.
• Assist in design, development, and operations of internal business systems and applications, including AI initiatives.
• Develop and present training and knowledge base content on technical topics for varied audiences.
• Contribute to ongoing cybersecurity controls implementation and effectiveness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
