Elgin Community College seeks a technically adept Projects Coordinator in Technology Services. You will manage large-scale technology deployments, coordinate cross-functional teams, and implement automation workflows across hardware, software, and APIs to support staff operations.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience with SCCM, Jamf Pro, and Google Workspace. A bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, plus significant project experience, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or minimum 6 years in networked environment with coordination of projects.
• Certifications such as PMP and ITIL/ITSM are required or to be completed within first year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal/external technology projects for the Technology Services department.
• Lead annual computer replacement initiatives and technology deployments.
• Develop deployment standards, OS images, and automated installation processes.
• Support and back up staff with complex technical initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-range technology planning and process improvements.
