Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to provide technical and administrative support for NAS programs and systems. You will help design data-driven and web-based solutions aligned with mission objectives and security standards.

The role involves collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, 50% travel, and participation in program reviews and stakeholder meetings. A BS in CS/Math and 1–2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.
  • 50% travel is required.
  • Foundational understanding of systems security principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with web application development technologies including HTML5/XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and JSON.
  • Understanding of MVC architecture and full stack development concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with client/server architecture and cross-browser development techniques.
  • Ability to support analysis, design, and implementation of technical initiatives and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills to support planning, scheduling, and documentation of program/project activities.
  • Ability to participate in program reviews, technical discussions, and project meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative support for NAS programs and systems, aligning with mission objectives.
  • Support systems security initiatives by assisting in secure environments implementation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to analyze business needs and define data and system requirements.
  • Assist in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of software applications and system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain web-based applications using HTML5/XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and JSON.
  • Support full stack development activities including UI design and backend integration.
  • Apply OOP principles to support scalable software solutions.
  • Contribute to client/server and cross-browser development for compatibility and performance.
  • Participate in planning activities: defining objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Assist in schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.
  • Support second-level engineering activities with standards development and evaluations.
  • Participate in program reviews and stakeholder briefings with task updates.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and system issues.
  • Maintain documentation for system design and development processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, organizational, and program standards.

Job description

IT Systems Analyst provides both technical and administrative support for programs and systems within the National Airspace System (NAS) environment. This role supports the planning, analysis, design, and implementation of data-driven and web-based solutions aligned with mission and business objectives.

The position serves as a key contributor in advising project teams and operational stakeholders to ensure that data solutions and system architectures meet evolving business needs and technical standards. Responsibilities include supporting systems security initiatives, contributing to software and application development efforts, and assisting in the execution of full lifecycle project activities.

In addition to technical execution, the role includes administrative support functions such as assisting in program and project planning, establishing objectives and requirements, supporting budget and schedule development, and participating in program reviews and stakeholder meetings. The position requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions within a federal aviation environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, organizational, and program-specific standards, policies, and procedures
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline and one to two (1 - 2) years of relevant professional experience required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $63K to $65K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
