Job summary

Adams County Communications Center Authority seeks an experienced System Administrator II to maintain the 911 IT infrastructure at the Commerce City facility. The role covers desktop, server, application, database, and networking workloads with on-call duties and remote support during events.

Responsibilities include VMware, AD/SQL management, disaster recovery planning, security controls, and coordination with multiple agencies to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of increasingly responsible computer experience including technical support.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field required.
• Experience in Microsoft environment including Windows Server, SQL Server, and Office 365.
• VMware knowledge and familiarity with network and security concepts.
• CJIS clearance within 30 days upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Microsoft application environment and triage help desk tickets.
• Manage Storage Area Network and VMware virtual infrastructure.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for systems and data.
• Configure Active Directory, IAM, MFA, and access controls.
• Provide 24/7/365 on-call support for emergency IT events.
