Job summary

BRMS in California is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to provide company-wide hardware/software support. This role requires strong IT infrastructure skills and on-site presence.

The candidate should have extensive experience with Windows/Linux, Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, and virtualization technologies to keep systems reliable and secure. Core duties include installing and maintaining hardware/software, performing troubleshooting, maintaining documentation, and supporting

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to present technical and business information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent computer hardware skills, including PC and peripheral troubleshooting and repair.
• HelpDesk Experience: manage end-users, Help remote employees (Required).
• Experience with Cloud Base Backup solutions & Business Continuity (Required).
• Scripting (PowerShell) (Required).
• Experience with Linux. (Required).
• Experience with VDI, HyperV or VMWare (Required).
• Active Directory (Required).
• Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 (Required).
• VoIP Phone system experience required. IVR training a Preferred)

Responsibilities

• On-site work with consistent attendance.
• Maintain all office computer hardware/software directly and with contractor support as required.
• Install, test, and repair computers and peripheral equipment.
• Install and maintain software.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware/software issues and provide end user support.
• Research current hardware/software markets and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Assist in the implementation and completion of computer-related projects.
• Maintain documentation.
• Oversee and perform scheduled maintenance on computer hardware as necessary.
• Assist IT team as requested, including QA.
