Job summary

Midwest Scrap Management Inc. is seeking an experienced IT professional to support desktop and endpoint environments, printers, and surveillance systems. The role covers Azure AD, on‑prem servers, and network monitoring to ensure reliable operations across multiple sites.

You will manage patching, MDM (Intune), and end-user support, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Strong customer service and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support or systems administration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows desktop and server OS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and TCP/IP concepts.
• Experience deploying endpoint patching solutions.
• Proficiency with at least one MDM platform (Intune or equivalent).
• Ability to install and troubleshoot printers, cameras, and peripheral equipment.
• Strong customer service orientation with clear communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS desktops and workstations across locations.
• Perform hardware provisioning, imaging, and lifecycle management including asset tagging and inventory tracking.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Manage software installations, license compliance, and approved deployments.
• Install, configure, and maintain printers, copiers, and multifunction devices; manage print servers.
• Install and maintain IP-based surveillance cameras and recording systems; ensure camera health.
• Administer Azure environments including VMs, storage, resource groups; manage Entra ID provisioning.
• Manage on‑premises Windows Server environments and AD/DNS/DHCP; apply patches.
• Monitor network devices; respond to alerts; document topology and IPAM.
• Support VPN, remote access, and SD-WAN solutions; assist with security.
