Are you the person other IT professionals turn to when an infrastructure issue gets complicated? We're seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator II to join a collaborative infrastructure team responsible for keeping critical enterprise systems secure, connected, and performing at their best.
This is not an entry-level support role. You'll work across Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, networking, and security technologies, serving as a key escalation point for challenging infrastructure issues. The ideal candidate brings strong systems administration experience along with enough networking knowledge to understand traffic flow, troubleshoot connectivity, and translate business needs into clear technical requirements. You'll also work with modern security and monitoring tools to identify vulnerabilities, investigate issues, and drive remediation.
The position is located in Topeka, KS and will be onsite during approximately the first 3-6 months of training. Once fully trained, the role offers a hybrid schedule with two designated remote days per week.
Experience with PowerShell or other infrastructure automation, enterprise security remediation, endpoint management, and environments where systems administrators support a broad combination of server, networking, and security responsibilities is highly valued.
This is an excellent opportunity for an infrastructure professional who wants more than routine server administration. You'll have the autonomy to solve challenging problems, work across multiple areas of enterprise infrastructure, and serve as a trusted technical resource when issues require deeper investigation. If you enjoy figuring out why something isn't working and having the technical breadth to determine how to fix it—this could be an excellent next step.
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
