Job summary

Channel Partners in Tampa, FL is seeking a Microsoft Systems Administrator to manage enterprise Microsoft environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The role focuses on stability, security, and performance of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.

You will administer, monitor, and optimize Microsoft platforms, support business operations, and drive modernization across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years in Microsoft-based enterprise environments.
• Experience managing Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 services and Azure.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.
• Experience backup and disaster recovery implementation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Microsoft infrastructure across locations.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Support and administer Azure cloud environments and virtual networks.
• Manage identity and access while enforcing security policies.

• Patch, update, and harden systems; provide Tier 2/3 support.

At A Glance

Channel Partners is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Systems Administrator to manage and support enterprise Microsoft environments across cloud and on premise infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the stability, security, and performance of core systems including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.

You will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and optimizing Microsoft based platforms, supporting business operations, and driving modernization initiatives across infrastructure and cloud environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, automation mindset, and the ability to manage hybrid environments at scale.

This role requires that you work out of our Tampa corporate office 3 days a week.

Minimum Pay

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $100,000.00/Yr.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP across multiple locations
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Support and administer Azure cloud environments, including virtual machines, networking, and storage
• Manage identity and access management solutions while ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and vulnerability remediation using enterprise management tools
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
• Automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency through PowerShell scripting and other automation tools
• Manage system patching, updates, and security hardening initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and user-related issues, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support as needed
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and application teams to support enterprise initiatives and compliance requirements Document system configurations, processes, and operational procedures
• Mentor junior technical staff and provide technical guidance and support

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience administering Microsoft-based enterprise environments
• Experience managing Windows Server environments
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Experience supporting Azure infrastructure and cloud servicesExperience with system monitoring, logging, and performance management tools
• Experience implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Microsoft 365 Administrator
• Experience working within hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and device management solutions

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls
• Knowledge of security frameworks, controls, and compliance standards
• Strong understanding of Microsoft infrastructure, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems
• Ability to manage and support both cloud-based and on-premises environments
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Proactive approach to system monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
