  2. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the IT team, overseeing system administrators and support staff, fostering accountability and professional growth.
  3. Oversee maintenance, configuration, upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery plans for servers, storage, networks, and databases.
  4. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers, troubleshooting issues and planning upgrades.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business workflows, translating requirements into technical solutions and communicating system changes.
  6. Develop and enforce IT policies, ensuring security standards and regulatory compliance relevant to financial data protection.
  7. Work with senior management on IT strategy, budgeting, process improvements, and technology innovations to enhance system efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, enterprise storage, virtualization (VMware), and network management.
  • Expertise in backup/recovery, security practices, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with SS&C Advent software (Portfolio Exchange, Moxy OMS) and supporting these systems.
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL, MCSE, AWS/Azure, CISSP) and advanced degrees are advantageous.
  • Experience in strategic IT planning, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and vendor/budget management.
