Responsibilities
- Google Workspace Administration: Manage and optimize our Google Workspace environment, including user accounts, security, and integrations, serving as the primary sysadmin.
- Networking: Design, implement, and maintain reliable network infrastructure to support current operations and future scalability.
- IT Asset Management: Oversee hardware and software inventory, ensuring efficient tracking and deployment for a growing team.
- Growth Preparation: Build scalable IT systems and processes to handle rapid growth, migrating from MSP reliance to a robust internal IT framework.
- Facility Move Support: Plan and execute IT setup for our new building, including network installation and workstation deployment, targeted for July 1, 2025.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR and leadership to align IT solutions with company goals, such as OKRs and team integration.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in IT, with proven skills in Google Workspace administration, networking, and IT asset management.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Google Workspace (sysadmin level), network setup (routers, switches, VPNs), and asset tracking tools (e.g., JAMF, Intune).
- Growth Mindset: Experience scaling IT for fast-growing companies, especially transitioning from MSPs to in-house systems.
- On-Site Availability: Ability to work 20–40 hours/week in Mountain View, with flexibility for July move preparation.
- Problem-Solving: Thrive in startup environments with a proactive approach to challenges, including technical resilience feedback.
- Bonus: Familiarity with cleantech IT needs and prior move/setup experience is a plus.
Salary Range
$25.98 - $37.60 USD (Hourly)
