Job summary

Garney is seeking an IT Support Technician II to provide advanced technical support for employee-owners across offices, jobsites, and remote locations. You will troubleshoot complex issues, support enterprise systems, and help maintain reliable IT operations while advancing security initiatives.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, devices, and connectivity; serve as escalation; document resolutions; and assist with endpoint management and deployment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support, desktop support, help desk or related roles.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows OS, endpoint devices and business apps.
• Advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software, mobile devices, printers and connectivity.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and wireless networking.
• Experience provisioning devices, software deployment, and patch management.
• Ability to identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Associate degree in IT/CS preferred; relevant certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and connectivity.
• Escalate complex issues and assist with resolution across the organization.
• Support employees across offices, jobsites, and remote work environments.
• Document issues, resolutions, and recommendations in the ticketing system.
• Assist with endpoint management, device deployment, software distribution, compliance monitoring, and patching.
• Support workstation lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, upgrades, and retirement.
• Serve as a resource for office and jobsite tech, including networking and printers.
• Support cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and document improvements.
• Participate in technology deployments, office builds, hardware refreshes, and jobsite mobilizations; mentor junior staff.
• Travel as needed to support office and jobsite technology operations.
