Job summary

Montana Judicial Branch is seeking an IT professional to develop, install, configure and support information technology systems and networks for the Supreme Court Building. You will provide Level 2 support and guidance to staff while ensuring critical systems remain operational.

The role involves travel across Montana, assisting with AV deployments and maintaining security, backups, and documentation. A strong foundation in Windows server environments and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with college-level coursework in computer science or a related technical area.
• Two to three years of system and network development, maintenance, and support experience.
• Experience providing technical support in a multi-user information technology environment.
• Experience supporting court proceedings, remote hearings, audio-visual systems, or other technology-dependent environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary information technology support contact for the Supreme Court Building.
• Provide Level 2 technical support for Windows servers, networks and software.
• Develop and maintain system security, backups, and documentation.
• Travel to court locations statewide for deployments and support.
• Assist with audio-visual deployments in coordination with the Audio-Video Coordinator.
