Requirements
Must have:
- 0–3 years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience; recent graduates, internships, and relevant coursework are welcome – Willingness and curiosity to learn new systems quickly; attitude and aptitude matter more than years of experience – Foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems and common applications – Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive – Experience with iOS and Android devices, as well as printers and copiers – Exposure to Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, mobile device management, VOIP phone systems, or hardware setup is a plus – ERP or warehouse system experience is beneficial; experience with VIP is especially helpful – Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly – Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable documenting issues thoroughly – Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively – Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience – Ability to lift at least 40 lbs – Familiarity with Wi‑Fi and access‑point deployments, inventory controls, warehousing or logistics, basic accounting or finance, or beverage and food distribution is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee technology questions, issues, and service requests across the company, with primary support for our Brewster facility
- Troubleshoot everyday problems involving desktops, laptops, mobile devices, email, printers, network connectivity, and peripheral equipment
- Partner with our Managed Service Provider and senior IT team to resolve PC, network, mobile, application, and broader systems issues
- Support users with common questions and known fixes in our ERP system, VIP, while escalating more complex issues as needed
- Record every request and incident in our helpdesk ticketing system and monitor tickets through resolution within expected timeframes
- Identify urgent issues and respond appropriately to high-priority tickets
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a reliable internal knowledge base
- Set up, image, provision, and configure PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Support our mobile device management environment, including application deployment, security settings, and device policies
- Tag, track, and maintain accurate records for local IT hardware and software assets
- Manage IT consumables and supplies, monitor stock levels, reorder items, and keep storage areas organized
- Assist with purchasing and disposal of computers, devices, printers, and related equipment
- Support onboarding and offboarding by deploying and collecting user equipment and accounts
- Help teammates with network maintenance, IT projects, and technology rollouts
- Contribute to improving simple procedures and forms that streamline IT operations
