Job summary

AnaVation is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team to support a wide range of IT tasks. The role involves helping customers remotely and in person, guiding them through configurations and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities include end-user support, hardware/software maintenance, network monitoring, security and backups, and asset/vendor management. This position is on-site with the customer in Quantico, VA and requires an active Top Secret clearance with

• Track IT inventory and coordinate with external tech vendors.

AnaVation is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our growing work program to support a wide range of IT-focused tasks. We are seeking a team member who will provide superior customer service and is committed to the successful operation of our customer's information technology systems. The selected candidate will work with customers remotely and in person, guiding them through systems configuration and troubleshooting, while aiming to resolve issues with efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• Helpdesk & Technical Support: Resolve end-user support tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and assist with computer setups.


• Hardware & Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and update workstations, peripherals, and operating systems.


• Network & Infrastructure Support: Monitor local area networks (LAN), Wi‑Fi, routers, and switches to maximize system uptime.


• Security & Backups: Enforce basic cybersecurity measures, run data backups, and follow disaster recovery procedures.


• Asset & Vendor Management: Track IT inventory, document system processes, and coordinate with external tech vendors.

This position is on with our customer in Quantico, VA and cannot be supported remotely.

This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a CI polygraph.
