Triad Partners is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Lawrence, Kansas-based IT team. This early-career role focuses on hands-on end-user support, infrastructure upkeep, and a culture of learning within a collaborative environment.

You’ll support Windows and macOS endpoints, administer Microsoft 365 and networking gear like Meraki and Mist, and look for opportunities to automate routines with PowerShell or Python.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site IT presence at the Lawrence office.
• Support and administer cloud and SaaS platforms including Microsoft 365 and Meraki/Mist networks.
• Provide end-user software and hardware support for Windows and macOS endpoints.
• Identify opportunities to automate IT processes using AI/tools to improve efficiency and response time.
• Contribute to IT projects within the broader IT team on rollouts, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Respond to IT support requests and security alerts, meeting SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to the next level of support.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects with the corporate IT team.

About the Role

The IT Support Specialist will be part of the broader IT team and act as the primary interface for end-user support while helping to manage the infrastructure and security platforms that keep the business running. What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary on-site IT presence at our Lawrence office, providing support to corporate users.
• Support and help administer cloud and SaaS platforms including Microsoft 365 and network platforms like Meraki and Mist.
• Provide end-user software and hardware support for Windows and macOS endpoints, including the deployment of applications to endpoints.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual or repetitive IT processes, and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, response time, and overall support quality.
• Contribute to, and help lead, IT projects and initiatives—partnering with the broader IT team on rollouts, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Respond to IT support requests and information security alerts, meeting SLAs defined in the IT support framework.
• Escalate complex issues to the next level of support for timely resolution.
• Serve as a liaison with vendors and other service providers.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Partner closely with the broader corporate IT team on cross-functional projects.

Bonus if You Have

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows and macOS / MacBook fleets in a business or enterprise setting.
• Experience working in an enterprise IT setup.
• Experience building automations or scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, low-code tools) to streamline IT operations.
• Experience or solid foundational knowledge in Meraki or Mist networking and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to corporate IT infrastructure.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (or a desire to pursue them).

Work Arrangement

This is an on-site role based at our Lawrence, Kansas office and reports to Triad’s Director of Infrastructure. As the primary on-site IT presence, consistent in‑office availability is a core part of the role.
