Job summary

Knighted is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to assist the IT department by resolving a broad range of tech issues and streamlining IT infrastructure. You will use FreshService to manage tickets and collaborate with teammates to improve knowledge and service delivery.

The role emphasizes customer service, broad tech knowledge, and a fast-paced environment. Training is provided to meet Knighted standards and ensure timely issue resolution.

About The Role

Knighted is looking for an IT Support Specialist I (ITSS1) to support the IT department and greater Knighted team by solving a wide range of Tech related problems and assisting to create a streamlined IT infrastructure. You will be empowered to leverage FreshService IT Services Management platform and dashboards to manage your ticket queue, working in a team environment to enhance your knowledge and that of your teammates. Successful candidates enjoy customer service support, possess knowledge across a wide range of technical topics, and thrive on finding solutions to technical issues in a fast-paced environment. Must be self-motivated, possess a sense of urgency and demonstrate critical thinking skills; capable of working in a heavily collaborative environment. Training will be provided to ensure skills and quality of work meet Knighted standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide timely first-level contact and problem resolution for hardware, software, networking, and mobile support. Escalate issues as appropriate.
• Performs general IT support activities, hardware deployment/repair, and software installations.
• Performing preventative maintenance of IT equipment.
• Travel to business operations locations for support and maintenance, as well as assisting remotely.
• Supports account management of technical systems.
• Assist with recommendations of technical solutions that meet design and functional needs.
• Assist with updating/authoring IT documentation.
• Perform asset management to include asset inventory, audit and tracking, asset administration and reporting, automating the asset management process as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to be able to assist our teams onsite.
• Associates Degree, equivalent Certification (A+, Net+, Sec+, Cloud+, etc.), or equivalent experience preferred
• Familiarity with SaaS environments is a plus.

Skills & Technical Knowledge

• Detail oriented person that acts with a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrates an upbeat and positive attitude toward job responsibilities and accomplishment of critical business objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively using several modes of communication, such as: face-to-face, email, phone, instant messaging, etc.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace Apps.
• Knowledge and ability to support iPadOS, MacOS, ChromeOS, WindowsOS, Android
• Ability to quickly understand and operate a wide variety of System and Cloud based applications.

Bay Area pay range: $26 USD - $30 USD
