Job summary

Proactive Technology Management is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our fast-growing team in the Denver, CO area. This client-facing role requires solid IT knowledge and high accountability as you guide clients from onboarding to ongoing support.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, about 2.5 days on-site and 2.5 days remote, with opportunities to specialize in networking, security, or cloud as you grow.

Qualifications

• Office 365 and Windows Server experience required.
• Firewall troubleshooting with Sophos, Cisco, SonicWall, or WatchGuard.
• Strong networking setup experience (APs, switches, firewalls).
• Knowledge of virtualization and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Set up customer networks from cloud to keyboard.
• Install Windows Server and perform configuration maintenance.

Proactive Technology Management is looking for a new IT professional to join our fast-growing team. Location:

We are looking for someone to work full time in the Denver, CO area. You will be supporting our growing client base in this area alongside other IT professionals.

The Path:

Technician -> Integrator -> Engineer -> Consultant

Along the way, you may work remotely or on site with clients. Initially, you will not be assigned clients. As you grow into a senior technician role, you will have the opportunity to be assigned to and work directly with specific clients. Some techs may branch off along the way and become specialists in a specific area of IT like security, networking, or cloud.

Our technicians are in charge of their clients from keyboard to cloud. They work with the decision makers to guide purchasing decisions, setup new equipment, and implement new services. This person must love helping people with technology and excellent communications skills are essential.

The Position:

We are hiring an experienced technician at the Integrator level. This person would work a hybrid schedule, averaging about 2.5 days onsite and 2.5 days remote. Any experience working with medical clients or in the medical field would be a plus.

Our technicians work directly with our clients and other IT professionals - if you enjoy interfacing with people on a daily basis and problem solving on the go, this role would be a great fit for you!

This is a fast-paced and dynamic position requiring a strong grasp of the fundamentals of Networking, Office 365, Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Security. Troubleshooting, implementation, and installation are of the key areas of knowledge to be successful in this position.

Must Have:

• Office 365 and Windows Server experience
• Firewall troubleshooting experience (Sophos, Cisco, Sonicwall, Watchguard)
• Network Setup (installing AP’s, switches, and firewalls)
• Knowledge of virtualization and networking

Good To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in the Medical field is a plus
• IT-related certifications
• MSP Experience

Responsibilities:
