Job summary

Hasenstab Architects is seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist to aid in the operation, management, and troubleshooting of our firm's IT system over three office locations in Ohio.

This role works with our IT staff to maintain networks, software, and printers, and collaborates with an external consultant to ensure security and reliability for staff. The position is in-office with some schedule flexibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT systems in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge of network hardware and software.
• Experience coordinating with external consultants and vendors.
• Experience troubleshooting printers/plotters and office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems across three Akron offices.
• Work with IT staff to ensure secure, updated networks and devices.
• Collaborate with external consultants and vendors for projects and support.
• Provide hands-on user assistance to firm staff and ensure minimal downtime.

Job description

Hasenstab Architects is seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist to aid in the operation, management, and troubleshooting of our firm's IT system over three office locations.

This person will work as a team with our current IT Staff to ensure our network of computers, software, and plotters/printers are maintained, updated, and secure on a day-to-day basis.

We engage an outside consultant for backup, security, and overall system monitoring. The position will require engagement with this consultant as well as hands‑on interaction with firm staff and communication with outside vendors.

Prior experience with modeling, rendering, drafting, project management, Artificial Intelligence, and business automation software associated with an architectural and/or engineering practice is preferred. Knowledge of network hardware and software is required.

This is a full-time, in-office position. Some work‑schedule flexibility may be considered. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, and opportunities for career growth.
