Job summary

Precision Medicine is seeking a hands-on IT Support & Software QA professional in Farmingdale, NY. The role combines keeping workstation hardware and network services running smoothly with testing of internally built software used daily across our pharmacy locations.

You will write and run test cases, perform regression testing, and help ship changes with confidence. A background in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus, and salary ranges reflect senior responsibilities.

Qualifications

4+ years in IT support or a hands-on technical role.
Solid Windows workstation troubleshooting; comfortable imaging and deploying machines.
Working knowledge of Active Directory and/or Samba (users, groups, shares, permissions).
Comfortable with basic networking concepts and printer/peripheral troubleshooting.
Methodical, detail-oriented, and organized — able to document work clearly.
Trustworthy with sensitive systems and data; able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Test our internally built software across new features, fixes, and releases.
Write, execute, and maintain clear, repeatable test cases and checklists.
Run regression and exploratory testing to catch issues before they reach users.
Document defects with clear reproduction steps and work with developers to verify fixes.
Support user-acceptance testing and help validate that software matches how the pharmacy actually works.
