Phaxis is seeking a senior IT support lead in the New York area to guide a small team and provide hands-on technical leadership across Microsoft 365, Windows environments, Entra ID, endpoint management, and cloud services.

You will oversee IT infrastructure including UniFi and Fortinet networking, Datto backups, endpoint security, and systems monitoring, acting as the escalation point for complex issues while partnering with business leadership to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.

• Lead a small IT support team with hands-on guidance and mentorship.
• Provide advanced technical support across Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID, endpoint management, and cloud services.
• Oversee IT infrastructure including UniFi and Fortinet networking, Datto backups, endpoint security, and monitoring.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex IT issues across end-user systems, networks, apps, identity and cloud services.
• Partner with origination teams and business leadership to align IT initiatives with goals.

• Maintain technical documentation, prioritize support requests, manage ticket workflows, and ensure clear user communication.
• Balance hands-on work with project leadership, infra improvements, automation, and future growth responsibilities.
• Promote security practices across access management, patching, endpoint protection, backup/recovery, and incident response.
