Job summary

Leap Group Network is seeking an IT Support Intern in Louisville to assist our IT Operations. The role offers hands-on experience across systems, hardware, and software within a creative agency environment, with a majority in-office work.

Ideal candidates are pursuing IT, networking, cybersecurity, or systems administration, comfortable with Mac/PC, and familiar with Google Workspace and ticketing systems. Flexible scheduling supports school commitments.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Comfortable navigating both Mac and PC environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and issue tracking tooling.
  • Awareness of Google Workspace, Slack, and related collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT helpdesk tickets and assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support user setup and account management for new hires and internal moves (device prep, access provisioning, etc.).
  • Assist with maintaining asset inventory, license tracking, and documentation.
  • Help monitor systems, backups, and alerts across our internal tools and platforms.
  • Shadow and learn from experienced IT team members managing infrastructure, security, hosting environments, and more.
  • Offer thoughtful recommendations for improving support documentation and helpdesk workflows.

Candidates for this position must be within commuting distance of our Louisville, KY office and available to work in-office a majority of the time.

The IT Support Intern is a resourceful and curious team player who supports our IT Operations at Leap Group. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in systems, help build and support internal tools and learn what it’s like to manage tech across a creative, fast‑paced agency environment.

In this role, you can expect to:
