Job summary

The State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking a DOT Intern – D3 for District 3 in Chipley, FL. This open competitive, part-time internship offers $15 per hour for 20 hours per week and provides hands-on IT support experience in a government setting.

The intern will assist with PC user support, basic troubleshooting, equipment replacement/reconfiguration, and AV/VC setup. Applicants must be US citizens or authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Participants are expected to comply with all department policies, procedures, regulations, and Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assists with providing user support for personal computers (PC) and peripheral equipment.
• Assists with basic troubleshooting to resolve support tickets.
• Assists with replacing or reconfiguring existing computers or other equipment as needed.
• Assists with reserving, setting up, and troubleshooting of Audio Visual (AV) and Video Conference (VC) equipment.
