The South Dakota Bureau of Human Resources in Pierre offers a Summer (May - August) internship for the DCI IT Intern. The role provides technical support for hardware/software and collaboration with IT staff on maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation tasks.

The position requires current enrollment as a part-time or full-time student (minimum 6 credits) and may involve travel to field offices. Preferences given to juniors/seniors, SD residents, and students of SD institutions.

Competenze

Must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at time of application.
By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.
Preference may be given to juniors/seniors, South Dakota residents, and students of South Dakota institutions.

Mansioni

Provide technical support for existing OAG hardware and software.
Work with IT staff to maintain, troubleshoot, and install computers and peripherals.
Assist in maintaining inventory and surplus; participate in implementing new or upgraded systems.
Opportunity to work with different areas of technology; travel may be required to field offices.
